LOKATE is a home for a family of four, including a dog. We are looking forward to welcoming those who are comfortable with children and dogs.

The area around the house is a quiet village. Please refrain from any activities that may disturb the neighbors.

Footsteps and voices carry especially well in traditional Japanese-style houses. Please be considerate of other guests.

There is air conditioning, but please try to feel nature as much as possible. Please be eco-friendly.

Insects may come in through the cracks of the house.

LOKATE is a non-smoking lodging. Please understand that there are no smoking areas.

We will cook meals together at LOKATE. We ask that you accompany us to the field to harvest vegetables and help with the meals.

We will have our meals together on the hearth. If you would like to eat alone, or if you would like to eat in silence, please feel free to consult with us.

Bed sheets and bath towels will not be changed during your stay. Please feel free to ask for face towels.

We will charge 500 yen per person per night for utilities during the summer and winter seasons.

We will send you an email after you have made a reservation for details such as address and access.

LOKATE is located far from the nearest train station. Please contact us in advance if you plan to use public transportation.

We ask for your cooperation in taking measures against Covid-19, such as taking your temperature before coming and upon arrival, disinfecting your hands and fingers, and taking care of your overall health.

Cancellation fee will be charged from 5 days prior to stay.

5 days prior to stay: 30% of fee

2-3 days prior to stay: 50% of fee

Day before stay: 80% of fee

Day of stay/No show: 100% of fee for entire scheduled stay

After registration, we will send you an email with accommodation details and bank transfer information. Please make your payment within 5 days of making a reservation request. Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of payment.
